Finally! First off the car is my ex wifes purchase I learned to buy american after having only one toyota. Honda has got to be the absolute worst car sales ive ever seen. The problems started at the first dealer. We told the guy what we were in the market for " a black honda civic si coupe" His response and believe it this is true exactly. " First of all we dont have any on the lot due to the tsunami and this is honda its not gonna be what you want its gonna be whats available on the shipment we recieve. Dont expect the color you want or the features" To me that was proposterous I told him shove it up his ass and off we went to dealer two.
This one we got as far as wed be paying cash. His words exactly.." Dont expect a discount and not only no discount youll have to pay three thousand dollars more cause theres such a limited supply of this car." Thats all it took for me he got told same to shove it straight up his ass.
Anyway I was pissed I was done with Honda I told her find a comparable brand id go with her but never will i put foot in a Honda dealer again. She went on and eventually got the car elsewhere with the same three thousand dollar mark up and not one extra. I fell like they stuck it to her and bad.
A week later the car was showing no oil. I checked it and yep no oil. They sold it to her with no oil or whatever amount it took to test the engine at the factory. I was furious I told her return it get your money back sue em whatever. She wont, once shes set on a car shes set. Well im still pissed and every place i can complain i do. DONT BUY HONDA ANYTHING!!!!!! Sure theyre good cars but try a chevy these days theyre even better and you dont have to pay a ships gas prices to get the car and parts over here. Or a three thousand dollar mark up cause honda decided to relabel a car a si and change the instrument panel to red. Thats the only difference i see.
