Based on information on internet, the life span of brake pads and rotors should be from at least 60,000 km. We only driven with less than 30,000 km, the front brake pads and rotors was asked to be replaced at the cost of $560.00 on 10/05/17. We were also advised that the rear brake pads and rotors must be replaced in one or two months or in about 2000 km with the costs of another $560. I am wondering whether this cost should be under my new car warranty (My car is under 5 year manufacturer warranty) and why quality of Honda brake pads and rotors is so bad. I have never experienced such problems from cars like Toyota Camry and Nissan Pulsar for in the past 20 years.
In addition, the alloy wheels of Honda Civic can be dirty very quickly when compared with other cars (Toyota Camry and Nissan Pulsar).
