Car started making this AWFUL rattling noise when put in reverse or set to idle in park. The car was brought to the Honda dealership to see what was going on and get it fixed. They insisted that it was a transmission problem and "replaced a few wires that something had chewed through." We got the car back home and still had the same problem. We took it back and they said they didn't know what was wrong with it and that they couldn't fix it. brought it home and lived with it for a while but it was slowly getting worse and worse. A year later still having the same problem, I did some online research and apparently this is a common problem. Everyone that had a solution to it said it was the motor mounts. Sure enough a friend pulled it apart and the motor mounts were so worn my engine could have fallen out from under my car if I would have left it long enough! You know that something is wrong with the car industry when you can trust the internet more than a dealership mechanic!!!!
