we bought this "safe" used car for our daughter and were told that the car had been gone over top to bottom. Two weeks after we got the car a slight squeaking noise started from the front end that sounded like the brakes were worn out. went back to the Honda dealer and were advised by a pimple face young service manager that nothing was wrong. A couple of days later the noise got so bad I was embarrassed for my daughter when she pulled up in the driveway. we went back to the dealership and after I dressed down the service manager he decided to give it another look. This time he admitted there was an issue and wound up replacing pads, rotors, spindles. basically rebuilding the entire brake system. less than a year later and the vehicle started making the squeaking sound again and my daughter said today when she was almost at complete stop it made a grinding sound but has not repeated. we had other issues with the vehicle but that's another story.
