Upon initially pressing the driver's side window switch, the window should begin to open until your finger is released. Upon pushing the button completely downward, the Auto function engages and the window opens completely and automatically. The problem I am having is with the initial pushing of the switch, sometimes the window starts to crack open and sometimes it does not. I had a 2009 Civic that did the identical thing. Never bothered to have it addressed at Honda service, simply because I had a littany of other occurences to report, that I forgot about this one. Very annoying when I am trying to crack open a window and it will not open, so I start putting more pressure on the switch, and the window opens all the way, and I have to put it back up and try again, just for a crack.
