The clutch started making a creaking " rusty screen door squeak " when you would release the clutch. It started within 3 months of purchasing this car brand new. To make a very long story short, Honda has made 5 repair attempts. Each time, the first four attempts, the noise went away but returned within 3-4 months or 3,000 ish miles. I've just had my fifth repair 1/11/2013, but unfortunately they did the SAME repair that has failed previously , so now I am anticipating the noise will likely return in another 3 months . First repair- replaced the master clutch cylinder Second repair- replaced master clutch cylinder and a snap pin third repair- replaced master clutch cylinder fourth repair- did not replace anything but took it apart and lubed with a " different grease " Fifth repar- replaced the master cylinder and the snap pin
Why does the noise go away for 3 months and come back- ? even when they just lubed it ? I'll post again when the noise come back in 3 months...
