I was in the dealership on January 17, 2011 for an oil change and car inspection. My brakes showed as 6mm according to my receipt. On February 22, 2011- they needed to be replaced. Explain that! It only has 21,000 miles on it- this seems excessive and quite quick to have to be replaced. I've owned the car for 1 year and 2 months- so it wasn't covered under a brake warranty because it was beyond the 1 year! How convenient. I was advised that this is becoming a noticable problem- however, Honda won't do anything about it or submit a recall. So instead- I'm expected to pay for new brakes how often now? Unacceptable.
