I have had to learn to stop well away from any sort of curb or concrete parking bump (the technical term escapes my sleepy memory at the moment), because if I pull up too close and tickle it with my air dam (formerly known as a bumper), the driver's side corner of the air dam pops off from just above the wheel well and stays loose until I can get some big strong guy who doesn't worry about fingernails to pop it back in place.
This problem began within six months of purchasing our car and has been "fixed" by our dealership, several oil change places and my brother-in-law. But, all I have to do for a recurrence is to "kiss" any curb or parking lot lump and it happens again. Why can't Honda either raise the car just enough to clear the darn things, or make an air dam that won't pop off? We had the same issue with our 2009 FIT (but, gee, I really miss that FIT).
