The engine mount supports on the passenger side have had a history of failing as documented on-line. This has been ongoing with the Civic since 2007. Since this is a pattern problem, Honda should do something to remedy the failure and off-set the cost to the vehicle owner.

Update from Nov 12, 2013: My dealer responsibly off-set the cost of the repair to a significant percentage. Hooray!

I took my car to my dealer and toled them about the vibration in the car they kept my car for hole day and came back to me with some stupid excuses: 1. The way your car's engine is built to save you on gas this is why it vibrates. 2. All Honda Civics with the same year and models "vibrate". 3. Well we did everything we could this is normal, so you have to DEAL with it. I was not satisfied with these answers and took my car to another Honda dealer. The rep took my car for a test drive and said I drive 30 hondas every day and this is ok for me and I do not want waste my technicians time on this. Instead of offering me some help he was trying his 100 % to send me home asap. After 20 minutes of arguing with him I went to see the Manager then the rep told me hold on I will have my Tech look at it. The technician as soon he turned the engine on said this is not right and told the rep that the vibration is excessive and needs to be fixed. They kept the car and performed an Idel Relern Prosedure and said it is fixed now. I took my car back and while driving back home the issue came back. It is so annoying and sad to pay this much money for the car and then have this kind of problem which no one is trying to help and fix it for you. I drive to work every day with a vibrating engine stear wheel. please HELP.

Civic LX 3.2L

I went to the dealer with one problem and left with another. After taking my car in on 01/24/11, I was told I need a replacement part. (I don't remember what it's called) and it's on order. I was told my car was alright to drive. The engine & drive light was off. But now my car vibrates.
