I'll keep it short and not-so-sweet. I bought this car about a month ago from Braman Honda in Lake Worth Florida. I back it out of my parking space on 08/03/10 and drove it to the stop sign, stopped, then pressed my foot on the gas pedal.
What happened next, you ask? Nothing... it kind of sputtered and almost stalled out. I had to release the gas and press it slowly to get it to go again. What the F is that about? I'm rather pissed as I bought this used "Honda Certified" car about a month ago after looking around at several cars and several dealerships and this is the one I pick?
I havent had a chance to take it to Honda yet to get it looked it but it's under warranty so they should fix whatever it is but the tech on the phone, at Braman, that I talked to just kept quiet when I told her it stalled and just said... "You should bring it in for us to look at." They are going to try to explain it away or say that there is nothing wrong with the car because they could not duplicate the problem......but now I'm getting off topic.
Has anyone else had this stalling issue with the 2008 Honda Civic LX Automatic?
