We bought our honda in May of 2008. On the four dour civic, there is a approximately 12" rectagular piece of trim right above the license plate. After about a month, after opening the trunk (which brought it to eye level), I noticed that a small plastic spacer was hanging out on the right side of this piece of trim and that the one on the left was starting to work its way out. I wouldn't have really cared, but the fact that the one on the right was also taking some of the paint off on our new car, this was going to have to be fixed.
We took it to our dealer and they told us to bring it in at our convienence. It ended up taking over a week to get it fixed due to them first attempting to paint the original piece, then ordering a new trim piece (which wrong piece came in first, then one in wrong color) and then finally getting it installed. Was covered under warranty, but annoying due to the rental we recieved lacked nav at a time that ended up really needing and due to the length of time our dealer took to resolve the simple problem.
