I have searched the Internet and found many Fit and Civic forums that discuss the problem but Honda has no recall info.
Spoke with a locksmith and he indicated that its a problem with quality of laser cut keys+lock cylinders. He has been asked to repair many of them and indicated that many people with PDL may not see the problem until after warranty period expires.
Also, the problem with recur within two years if fixed.... wait until lease end to be sure you're not dinged twice at $1000 per repair.
This is my third Honda and I'm finally going green as I recently moved to the city...... SEE YA HONDA.... YOU'VE SEEN THE LAST OF MY BUSINESS!!!!
