I am complaining about the extremely hot key of my Honda 2008 Civic when pulled from the ignition. This does not occur every time I use the car but I am growing concerned because the entire column around the ignition is also too hot to the touch and the problem occurs frequently. I have an appointment with my local Honda dealer tomorrow (April 2, 2016) at Coggin Honda of Fort Pierce, FL. I have extremely low mileage on the car (25,000) and only drive four miles to work. I was so concerned yesterday when arriving home that I did not park my car in the garage (afraid of a possible fire). Certainly this failure isn't due to my interaction but I must address the issue. Anyone else have the same complaint? What was your remedy? What was the cost of the fix? Annette
