1. safety recall notice indicative of air bag problem. Took to dealer. He said that it has been fixed after an hour of stay for passenger inflator-and when noticed while driving back, the airbag light came again. Prior to this also, this problem was notified a few years ago, and I got it fixed. Dealer asking money for doing diagnostics and then fixing it. 2. front and rear bumper clips fixed several times-4 times spending my own money but always a problem.
I had deer hit on I-80 West at mile stone 294.2. in Pennsylvania. My speed was 55 mph I hit brakes but despite that car hit deer and completely damaged. Despite such a accident not a single air bag was inflated. In 2015 I got letter of recall from Honda on air bag. I took it to dealership and they claimed they fixed it. But in accident not a single air bag was inflated. Vehicle is totaled. Honda has compromised safety of vehicle and put my life at risk.
The passenger visor will not go back up and hangs down which could have an effect if the passenger airbag deploys, the visor might snap if it is forced back up and visibility could be a problem if the sun comes in that way. I have major concerns for deployment of the passenger airbag. The visor is stationary and in motion on the highway and on city streets as well as turning on all roads
NHTSA recall # 16V346 was issued on July 20, 2016 to replace faulty airbags that split on impact. This notice only replaced the passage side air bag. I assumed the drivers side would be replaced at a later date but as yet haven't received a notice. According to the Honda airbag inflator recall center, mailed notification to replace the drivers airbag will begin in April 2019, but I have not received a recall notice. I'm a senior citizen, 90 yrs old and still driving independently. An impact with a faulty airbag deployment would be devastating and possibly fatal. This is my formal claim to have my drivers airbag replaced as soon as possible. Thank you.

After the recall,my side air bag has problem and need to be replaced due to the airbag light on and dealer checking. I wonder if this is due to the air bag quality issues.

Takata air bag failed recall! my 2007 Honda Civic sedan has an inflator malfuction located in the driver side rear that keeps the airbag light on at all times. Ive taken it to valley high Honda 2differant occasions. 2009, 2016 the dealer said they wont fix it, I should go to pick a part. Honda America also told me they wont fix it. Not covered under warranty! the bags are not in working order due to the light being on and will not deploy if involved in an accident! I thought safety was #1 priority for Honda" I have all my documentation showing my multiple visits. My wife and children travel in this car daily. I would like some help fixing this so my family will be protected if in an accident.I received a recall notice but the dealer said its not covered. I am writing this complaint after receiving an auto airbag settlement card in the mail. I purchased the vehicle used from valley high Honda in 2007. The vehicle has never been involved in an accident while I have been the owner. I was told it wasnt in one prior to my purchase. I was informed by the same dealer that the inflator wiring was damaged and came disconnected from the inflator switch and that I was at fault. " I recently have moved and dont have all my docuents readily available, so I havent attached them yet. The airbag light had began coming on shortly after or near the time of my purchase of the car. I will send or attach my little bit of information/documents as soon as I can get settled and locate it.
