Gas cap would not open. Called Honda and they advised that the cable would have to be replaced for a total cost of $350 (CND). I went on line and learned that the problem is common and found a site that showed how to take apart the floor pull handle and clean out the mechanism that accepts the cable. Did this and greased the cable. Works fine. Cost only my time.
I have only had the car 2 years and have babied it and serviced it on a regular basis. I am VERY disappointed with the lack of quality since I`ve had a number of issues with this vehicle. Honda appears to have a reputation that certainly is not warranted. I will never again purchase a Honda.
