With 106,000 Miles, it never seemed to shift right. Would not go into 2nd or 3rd easily. Dealt with it until it had 130,000 and it was painfully obvious something was wrong due to the horrendous whining/ grinding/ chattering noises coming from the transmission.
I replaced the clutch/pilot bearing/ pressure plate myself (God knows how much it would have cost to have someone else do it) And this did not solve the issue. Granted, the car shifts much better now, the noise did not stop.
It continues to make new, more depressing noises every day and I'm 100% positive it will leave me stranded soon. Beyond upset with how weak and brittle the car seems to be
