I had the Honda for just 4 months, and prior to myself, the vehicle had only one owner. I was within the final 2 minutes of my 35 minute commute to work, when all of a sudden, a loud knocking sound came from my engine, and all lights came on on the dash. As I continued to exit the interstate seconds later to pull off the road and look into it, my power steering went out and the car would not accelerate. After talking with my wife's cousin and a family friend who are both mechanics, neither knew what to make of the situation, so I had it towed to my friend's garage. After a few hours of looking into it, he found that two pistons had mysteriously stopped moving, even though enough oil was present in the engine. I've had my cousin in law look at it as well, and neither of them have any idea why the engine would have seized. Most definitely NOT getting another Honda. No signs were present before the matter, and it just suddenly stopped working with no cause visible or present.
