At 86k the starter failed on this 2003 Honda Civic EX, I thought Honda's were supposed to last longer and not have as many problems. This seems fairly early for a starter to fail, not very happy with Honda. At first my car would have a little trouble starting and some days when it was cold it wouldn't start very well at all, so I figured it might be the battery, so took it to have the battery checked and it ended up being a failing starter that was using way more amps than it should. Also just as a suggestion to people that get their Honda serviced, do NOT service it at the actual Honda, they will charge sometimes as much as double for the same work as a trusted auto shop can do it for and its the same if not higher quality.
