CarComplaints.com Notes: Yes, the Honda Civic receives a lot of complaints because so many were sold. And sure, car parts only last so long and things eventually break. But it's never good to see this many transmission complaints, especially when the average mileage at failure is just north of 100,000 miles.
Especially when you consider that it's predecessor also has a nasty history with transmission complaints.

door lock not working, door won't shut all the way
Last few winters my driver's side (only) door has been sticking when it gets cold out. Also this past summer the lock didn't work correctly, but I could lock/unlock with my key so not a huge deal. Today went out (below freezing) and couldn't get the door open, then after much banging and cajoling it opened. But it wouldn't close all the way - doesn't 'click' shut. Messed with as many things as I could think of, let the car warm and defrost everything but couldn't get it to shut. Pushed down hard on the lock pin and ....then it wouldn't unlock! Stuck in the car with a door that wouldn't close all the way but was still locked. Finally used some pliers to pull it up but the door still won't close all the way. Not sure if I need a new actuator? Don't really know what the issue is.
