You would think the gear box could hold on to the drive shafts for 100,000 miles+, guess not. The seals are shot on the gear box, probably the bearing too. Liked it better on the older models when the CV joints were the problem. The car has been put through hell, so 5 years and 100,000 miles later, it's a shame, not what I've come to expect from a Honda. I'm used to 10 years and 200,000 miles, time to buy a disposable Hyundai. My other complains are about the electronic failures of buttons and switches, glad I didn't get the power locks.
