I've been a truck driver, Auto Rental Agent, Service Adviser, and Service Manager encompassing 32 years, 12 of those years with Honda Corp.. I love Honda automobiles as a rule. That said, in all of my years in automotive, and transportation, only the 1981 MG Midget had a more uncomfortable seat.
The seat in the CRZ has No cushion, causing your ass, (In my experience), to become numb after a 30 minutes of driving; worse, with literally No lumbar support, if you have Any issues with your back, (Which I do), give in about the same amount of time, and your lower back will feel like it's on fire. I pulled off the freeway, bought a lumbar support, which helped, but, my butt remained asleep for the remaining 30 miles of my drive. I compare it to sitting on a wooden baseball bleacher. I'm in bed today, and will be going to my doctor tomorrow. That's how bad this seat is for me. Completely unacceptable.
This is not a Fiat, MG, or Yugo, it is a Honda. I expected Much more from them.
