The contact pulled off the interstate, inspected the vehicle, and noticed an object emerging from the roof. The contact's wife detected an abnormal popping noise before the failure. There were no reported injuries. The contact called the local dealer, but the vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The contact called the local glass center, but no assistance was provided. The manufacturer was notified of the failure and opened a case. The failure mileage was approximately 3,300.
