In November 2024 I received the recall notice for our 2024 Honda CR-V power steering, Honda Campaign number QJT. I called our dealership on December 2, 2024 and was told they were not scheduling the repairs at the time and they took my information and said I would be contacted by them when scheduling takes place. I waited and didn't hear back. Today, January 8, 2025 I called to inquire. I was told they are scheduling the repairs in November 2025! Way past the sixty days from the date of first contact. My complaint is that this recall is not being made a priority from Penske Honda, Indianapolis Indiana. Any safety recall should be repaired in a timely fashion.
Reverse camera will go black and white from time to time. I had recorded a video of this incident and showed it to Honda, but they wanted to charge me $180 to diagnose the issue. I was not willing to pay that as the car is still under warranty.
Description of incident: Saturday, [XXX] I was in traffic on I [XXX] near the [XXX] exit in Indiana. It was a stop/go, stop/go event as 6 lanes were going down to 1 lane. I was behind a Kroger semi-truck. I had my foot on the brake. I thought the people next to me had started to move, but then I noticed that I was getting closer to the truck (while my foot was on the brake). I pushed the brakes down further. I felt normal resistance. Nothing happened. I hit the cancel button of the adaptive cruise multiple times on my steering wheel thinking that perhaps my adaptive cruise started my movement. I kept rolling. Kept hitting the brakes wondering why I didn't stop. No beeps went off like they normally do. I rolled into the truck. My adaptive cruise had been set to 70, and I had used it before the incident. It was still on standby, but not green. My odometer was around 9547. This happened around 9:50am. No beeping sounds started or emergency braking happened. I would approximate my speed of hitting around 3-5 mph. I hit the truck. I had tried to switch to neutral and then to park. I could not move the gear shaft. I was hitting the brake hold. Anything to make me stop. Nothing worked, and I hit the truck. I did not move after hitting the truck, maybe one of the things I attempted to do worked. My foot was still on the brake. I pulled over, turned off the car, and restarted it. I have not applied the adaptive cruise since then. I don't know if it had anything to do with the incident, but I'm afraid to use it. If I had been moving at a faster rate, my safety and others would have been at risk. I took the car to the dealership. They provided me with a Honda multi-point vehicle inspection checklist and stated that they couldn't find anything wrong. There is definitely something wrong. If I manually apply the brakes, the car should stop. INFORMATION REDACTED PURSUANT TO THE FREEDOM OF INFORMATION ACT (FOIA), 5 U.S.C. 552(B)(6)
1) The ventilator in front of the driver is malfunctioning above 40 MPH, thus causing a vibrating noise 2) Given how loud the vibrating noise is, the driver cannot hear an ambulance, police vehicle, or the passenger next to them when driving above 40 MPH 3) Yes, the problem was reproduced by the service center at Muller Honda in Highland Park, Illinois 4) Yes, the vehicle was inspected by Muller Honda. Initially, we thought the source of the issue was a defective windshield. However, after the inspection, Muller Honda claims that it is the ventilator in front of the driver that is causing the issue. They tested another 2024 Honda CRV Hybrid and found that it is also experiencing the same issue, thus suggesting a fleet-wide defect 5) There were no warning lamps or messages suggesting that there is a problem
Long story short, I was driving my car and had noticed that when the engine would turn on from EV mode, it would idle rough and sometimes sound like it was struggling. I had it checked when the recall came in for my steering gearbox and they said nothing was wrong. Cue 600 miles later, every check engine light comes on and my car is loud as it gets. I call and take it to Honda and they tell me that since my car -??cleared the code-?? itself, they can-??t find it and I have to wait for it to maybe come back. As of yesterday, I went cause it started doing the same stuff as described above and they ran diagnostics on it. All 4 of my fuel injectors on the car have failed and need to be replaced. My car has less than 11k miles on it and all 4 of my injectors have gone bad? This isn-??t just a me issue this is going on all over cause the service manager called another rep and the dude said he has seen it before too.

My brand new vehicle is in the dealership for the 5th time. 1st incidence was well under 6K miles. Upon diagnosis they changed all 4 fuel injectors and again my car broke last night. Lost power in the middle of the highway leaving me stranded on a deadly situation. It has power system charging issue in the dashboard with all the lights lit up. I no longer feel safer in this car.
Summary American Honda Motor Co., Inc. (Honda) is recalling certain 2023-2025 multi-model year Honda vehicles. Due to improper production of the high-pressure fuel pump, cracks can form at the solenoid core component of the fuel pump. As a result, a fuel leak can occur in lower mileage vehicles when the high-pressure fuel pump is in operation. Safety Risk If a fuel leak occurs in the presence of an ignition source, the risk of a fire, crash, or injury are increased. However, for this safety risk recall, corrective action is not in place and there is not available part. There is no readily available good part to replace defective high pressure fuel pump and need to wait one month for order by dealers. Who is going to be liable and responsible if anything happens until the part is available? Honda is not addressing my concern and are not willing to deal with
Sunroof imploded while driving on the interstate. There were no cars around and the weather was sunny mid 80s. It sounded like an explosion with glass flying everywhere. Luckily the sunroof door was closed so glass didn-??t fall on top of me. I pulled off the road immediately and no evidence of any outside source was found to explain incident. Dealership claimed it must have been an outside source without proof.
I pulled into a parking space and I was in the process of stopping and almost completely stopped. The car started moving and sped up. I was on the brakes. It kept going faster. While I was thinking about what to do, I hit a sign with a brick base, but the car didn't stop. I thought of putting it in neutral, like they recommended when the Toyotas did this several years ago. In neutral, the car stopped. By that time, I had gone across a busy street and pulled into the parking lot of a gas station. Luckily, I didn't hit any other cars or the gas pumps.
While returning home to Louisiana from Mississippi on [XXX], the sunroof on my 2024 Honda Hybrid CR-V Sport L suddenly exploded. There were no vehicles in front of me, and no trees or other objects were close enough to hit the glass. The sunroof will be repaired through my insurance. Had we opened the sunroof cover, as we sometimes do, all the glass would have entered the vehicle cabin, potentially causing injury to my wife and our autistic son. There were no warnings or indications prior to the explosion. I have contacted Honda to alert them about this incident. have a -??24 hybrid. my car started experiencing a vibration when idling (when the engine is running!), it would last for about 15 seconds. My POWER SYSTEM PROBLEM light and my EMISSIONS SYSTEM PROBLEM lights came on. Took it in to honda and they just said they need to reset the car, which they did. Now today my car was vibrating but, no system lights came on.
Horn on vehicle is too low, other vehicle can-??t hear when driver sound the horn. This is a safety issue because it limits a warning precautions. Most vehicle has a low and high horn this model only has a high. This is too low
Back up camera flips from color into black and white. Not only is this distracting when using the back up camera, it also alters one's depth perception. I took my car to the dealer, they said it could be the audio entertainment system and it took them 4 months to get a replacement. The dealership told me it could be causes from too much light in the camera, the system overheating or an unknown cause. I had the camera switch to black and white on cooler days in my garage as well as out side on cloudy days. So far replacing the audio/entertainment system has fixed the issue but the dealership said it's likely going to go back to black and while and my next steps would be to "wait for Honda to find a fix for this issue".
My vehicle had about 5,000 kms on it. I was driving back home from work where suddenly as I was driving the car started popping up a whole bunch of error messages saying power reduced go see your dealer, electric power steering assist problem go see your dealer, emissions system problem go see your dealer and much more. The care went into a limp mode where I couldn-??t go faster than 30-40km/h if I recall correctly. This was very dangerous as I was on the highway and this was during winter. My drive to work in the morning there was no problem at all.
My car shudders when I accelerate from a stop position and during the stop, the engine revs really hard. I had an appointment to see the Honda service department on Wednesday, June 26 for a diagnostic. However, on my way home from a medical appointment on Tuesday, June 25, I stopped at the CVS. In the parking lot, in the parked position, the car shuddered violently and then I received these notices, power system problem, transmission system problem, blind spot information system problem and emissions system problem. All directed me to see the dealer
The backup camera switches from color to black and white. It also produces static and becomes blurry. I have almost hit cars/people while backing up with the sudden changes while backing. I have taken it to the dealership. They said they are aware of the problem, bit have no solution. It happened a week after purchasing.
I bought this new car about a week ago. I was parked in the church parking lot and put car in reverse to back out of the lot and the car went forward. This happened 3 x's for me. A Gentleman from church was walking out and I asked him to check and the same thing happened to him about 6 times but finally the car kicked into reverse. He followed me home to check that I got home alright. I called Hennessey Honda the next morning and the sent a tow truck out to tow the car to them. They said they could not get the car to duplicate the action and no codes showed up which really frightened me as I am fearful that it could happen again.
