Guess I'm lucky I drove 6000 miles before I had to use the horn! But then someone began backing out of a parking space as I approached in a parking lot. I honked, but I don't think they could hear that lousy little beep! I was able to stop and reverse in time, but a few more feet and there would have been no way to miss being hit.
