The contact owns a 2024 Honda CR-V. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the front passenger-??s side door failed to latch as intended. The contact stated that the front passenger-??s door was independently unlatched and opened. The contact stated that the failure occurred twice while her young daughter was occupying the front passenger-??s seat. In addition, while starting the vehicle, the door ajar warning light illuminated. After several attempts to close and latch the front passenger-??s door, the warning light turned off. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the failure was not duplicated. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 7,300.
