The contact's mother owned a 2020 Honda CR-V. The contact stated that while her mother was driving at under 10 MPH, the accelerator pedal was stuck and the brake pedal failed to stop the vehicle while depressed. The vehicle went over an embankment and crashed into a house, then came to a complete stop after crashing into several trees. The air bags were deployed upon impact. There were no injuries to the residents inside of the house. The contact's mother suffered soreness in her right leg, but no medical attention was received. No police report was filed. The vehicle was towed to a body shop and was not yet deemed totaled by the insurance company. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 7,000.
