It was the 4th of July driving in New York City with my mom, when suddenly the AC stopped cooling - and the weather was so hot. I decided to go back home in Queens and while driving back home to avoid suffocation I opened my car windows to get fresh air but the air coming from the outside was too hot.
Upon arriving home I got panicked when I saw my 73 years old mother having difficulty in breathing. We called 911 and brought her to ER and stayed for 5 days as she suffered heatstroke and complication.
I was frustrated. After all, I bought HONDA CRV 2020 (brand new) because I thought I will never encounter this kind of problem. I almost lost my mom.
Scheduling for a service repair was more than a week waiting. I brought my car to the Honda service center in Route 23 NJ. After 5 hours of waiting they told me they could not fix it because they can't find the cause. They advised me to go back the next day and leave my car but I asked for a loaner car but I was disappointed because they could not give me one - I must wait 10 days or more. I asked for help to the service manager, if he could help me with a loaner car. He promised but never replied to my call and text. I begged and begged but it seems he doesn't care.
I called my car agent, too if he could help but he doesn't care either. My job requires a car because everyday I drive tri-state.
Up to this date, for more than a month I am driving my car this summer without an AC. I could not afford to pay for car rentals because during the summer it's very expensive. The loaner car that I requested is scheduled by next week (at long last).
I was so dismayed, frustrated, and upset because I am paying my mortgage consistently on time for 14 months with the amount of 807usd monthly payable in 72 months but my car is broken. I am scared now. What else will come up in the coming months? And I just found out my mortgage is so expensive. Looks like I am paying luxury car.
With my bad experience from the car and Honda service, I want to return my car but I don't know what to do. I'm afraid my credit score will get affected by returning it.
