My CRV 2019 was bought brand new mid year 2019. Everything went well besides the well known dead battery problem I had at the very beginning (really bad experience).
When reaching 20,000 Kms, i noticed that overcoming other vehicles or when accelerating the vehicle on the highway during normal traffic maneuvers, there was a slipping noise coming from the floor of the vehicle. Like, when you need some push to overcome some situation in the traffic, then you get this "sound"...... Yep, Normal driving, nothing sporty nor abnormal driving.... Just, going around for the supermarket, overcoming big trucks and city driving in very crowded place (No room for sporty thingies).
After few more days, problem started to be more and more noticeable and at the same time there was the noise, the vehicle lost tracking power as well and starting to vibrate (like trying to go but....slipping somehow?).
Then i realized there was a problem like the Nissan Sentra, transmission was slipping and the slipping/cracking sound I heard is the chain from the transmission actually slipping between the pulleys inside the CVT transmission, and that is why at the time I got the sound, i lost traction power as well... Problem was confirmed. Very noticeable when you drive for enough time to let the transmission heat up and after a while if you try to push the vehicle a little bit to overcome others, then you get the slipping problem....loose traction and get the vibrations and sounds...
My vehicle was sent back to Honda for review and i hope they solve the situation soon, I'm still considering to buy another car because this is the 2nd time i get the CR-V for days to Honda in order to get this 0 Kms vehicle fixed.....this time I am very worried about the finding...
