Some dealerships are quoting $ 80 to 500 to recalibrate sensing equipment if windshield is replaced some say nothing is needed. Since Honda is now putting these sensing cameras on new civics, accords, pilots, crvs they need to let the dealerships know to tell consumers what additional costs are necessary if windshield glass replacement is needed on all these Honda models with sensing equipment. Also figure out since glass is usually a different claim and then they want another $500 to recalibrate the sensing cameras. Also do the glass installers know how to deal with Honda vehicles with these new sensing cameras. Maybe Honda dealerships should replace glass windshield with sensing camera equipped windshields need replaced. Even some Honda collision centers might not have equipment to calibrate these camera sensing equipped vehicles.
