Had my car parked for 3 weeks in the driveway. Returning home I saw on passenger side window, that the trim had been damaged from sunlight, looked warped or bubbled. Took vehicle to Honda dealership, and shocked at their response to me. The service area man looked at problem and had pat answer that he had never seen this before and certainly this was not covered by warranty as we must have done this damage. I told him that there has been other cases reported that cheap plastic wrapping the windows had damaged with direct exposure to light or reflections from metal. He had no desire to go any further with claim and accept any wrong doing.
I have purchased or leased 5 Honda vehicles in the past and have paid Honda on time and returned all my vehicles in good condition, so my track record of keeping a vehicle responsibly is impeccable, nevertheless they pushed this problem off to me. As I see it, there may be many vehicles with similar problems that the average person is just accepting responsibility and paying for the repairs. I do not intend to buy or lease any more Honda's nor encourage anyone else to do the same when they can't stand behind this inferior trim problem.
