Technician just pulled the code and told us that we needed a new Cat Converter. Disappointing because the car was only 5 years old and we had already had problems with needing to add oil between oil changes.
Update from Jul 14, 2022: Other mechanics noticed that there was oil or gas residue on the tailpipe. Brought it back to Honda. After a lot of persistence and arguing, they agreed to look into why we needed a new Cat Converter. One of the cylinder values had a leak (50% leak found on one and 20% on the others). Leaking air pressure form the exhaust valves causing the Cat Converter code P0420 due to unburnt fuel causing converter to melt due to values lap in and reinstall cylinder 1 lap in and reinstall cylinder head.
$4,023 to fix the valves + 1,630 to replace the Cat Converter.
