The contact owns a 2016 Honda CR-V. the contact stated while driving 65 mph, the driver's side sun visor clip fractured causing the sun visor to detach from the roof, causing a visibility hazard to the driver. The contact used duct tape to secure the sun visor in place. The vehicle was taken to shockley Honda (7400 shockley dr, frederick, md 21704, (301) 329-8801) where the mechanic confirmed the fracture of the sun visor clip. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was not contacted. The failure mileage was 45,000.
