2016 Touring CRV purchased in July 2016. Under warranty and do have additional Honda care. Noticed a gap 3/4 inch between bottom and back of the rear seats. Seats are fold back. We did not notice this problem until recently. Honda dealership checked with other cars and they all were the same, so could not make any repairs. Register complaint to dealership, and they finally would be willing to swap another seat to see the seats are the problem. But strongly indicated that it was just how the seats are made. They could order another seat but if nothing is wrong we would be charged. I'm just trying to find out if others have reported this problem.
We feel strongly that when purchased new there was no gap like there is now. Also is there a possibility that there is some other problem causing the gap and not the seats? Most of the time no one is in the back seat, only my wife and I. No pets or kids. We do use fold back occasionally for short period of time. We are a previous Honda CRV owner with fold back seats and never had this problem. This was a 2010 Honda CRV leather seats.
