idle goes up and down when headlites turned on and off

Honda has a admitted problem with the 2015 honda crv vibrations. My vehicle is over a year old ,the idle changes with the headlight turned on and off. vehicles vibrates at idle with the car in gear, headlights off. I had all the so called fixes done by the AUTO NATION HONDA ,CHANDLER AZ, still vibrates HONDA AMERICA rep .JOHN, has me bringing vehicle in again for road test. This vehicle has a vibration problem I feel HONDA is trying to mask, but unwilling to repair or take the vehicle back.

Update from Apr 18, 2016: I took my vehicle back to dealership for vibration and noise from rear of vehicle. The dealer found exhaust parts defective causing noise at idle in gear, foot on brake . Still have vibration that probably caused parts to fail, have 11,000 miles on vehicle, still not fixed, I feel HONDA is just trying to mask a vibration problem.Over 1 year trying to have this car repaired ,lost any trust in I had HONDA.

I drove the car home after buying it and noticed vibration while idling in drive. Next I noticed vibration at 60-70MPH. I returned the car to dealer with the problem at 300 miles. I now have been to the dealer with the latest updates from Honda for this problem. Now I am at 9000 miles and the vibration at high speed is very annoying and uncomfortable.

I went to the dealer with no option but to get out of this car and try a 2016 hoping it will perform better. My pay off balance of $13,000 will go up to $20,000. That includes an upgrade of about $1,400 for AWD.

It's been a bad experience all the way around beginning with my addressing the vibration to the salesman as well as service to hear they know nothing about this issue. It's been clearly documented by Honda that there IS a problem with vibration in this vehicle.

vibration while at stopped position in drive

Very disappointed in Honda for creating this problem. I would gladly give up a few miles per gallon for a vibration free car. I thought Honda was the best I now see it is not. I have not yet contacted Honda or the dealer, just a gut feeling I am in for a fight. I feel like I've been cheated, conned by Honda. They should not be selling this car in this condition.

Update from Feb 10, 2016: on 2/9 went to dealer. They are to fix problem but have to order parts. No call from they as of this morning.

Update from Feb 25, 2016: Took this car in to dealer 2/17 and told the service advisor I was having all 3 vibration modes, not just mode 1. He said it would take longer to fix because he had ordered parts for mode 1. I sais I don't care just order parts and fix all modes. I picked up 2/19

After driving this car for almost a week I can safely say the vibration for mode 1 is not better. I can also say the service advisor ignored my request to fix mode 2 and mode 3 vibration. I am frustrated with the whole thing and want to shed the car. I will contact Honda again and also discuss again with the dealer to try to fix. Don't buy one of these.

I have been using Toyota throughout my life and for the first time switched to Honda, expecting a reasonbly good vehicle.

Picked up the brand new vehicle last Saturday night (24th Oct 2015). Engine started to vibrate intermittently on the way to home. Mostly it vibrated when stopped at signal lights on D gear position. It also vibrates all speeds , I tried 40Kmph roads, 50 and 60 and 100 highways as well, it vibrated and the vibration felt by not just me( driver), but all passengers including who were seated in back seat as well.

Called the dealer, and they transferred to service dept, the tech answered told me that this is a know issue with 2015 Honda CR-V and it cannot be fixed.

This issue causing me to be very sick and vomit, with headaches, but now it seems I do not have any other option but to ride this bullock cart for rest of 4 years until end of lease. I will never buy Honda again.

Vibrating is awful. The vibrating comes thru the steering wheel traveling thru my entire body. My passenger in the passenger sit also feels it. For a car with less than 3000 miles, this is unacceptable! So disappointed in Honda. I had believed that Honda backed up their product but I was proven wrong. When I told the dealer, their answer was "THIS CONCERN IS BEING REVIEWED AND THERE IS NO PRODUCT IMPROVEMENT AVAILABLE AT THIS TIME". Can anyone believe this? In other words , suck it up and live with it! A brand new car, less than 3000 miles, and Honda can not fix their problem and the purchaser has to grin and bear it!

On same day I purchased this HONDA CRV, I noticed that this car vibrates really bad when I drive under 10mph, and on stop with drive shift. Contacted Dealers, and Honda main office in Torrance, CA. No one replied, offered help yet. I heard that some lawsuits have been filed by other CRV owners for same trouble. If you are going to buy 2015 HONDA CRV, make sure to ask salesman, "Is there any difference between 2015 & 2016 model?" They have to tell you about this vibrating trouble as HONDA states on their web site saying, this vibrating trouble has been fixed on 2016 model. They knew about this trouble, but still selling it without fix it / inform buyers.

I bought new Honda CR-V EX-L on May, 20th 2015 from Don Wessel Honda Springfield, MO. I noticed vibrations very next day when the car was stopped at stop light, day by day vibrations were increased then I called American Honda and dealer but could not get help. Now it's too worst, when vibration starts, passenger seat is vibrating a lot and making noise. This car is severely vibrating including car back seat, toys/things on car back seat are vibrating and making noise. I have requested American Honda and dealer to buy back this car but they denied and this dealer doesn't want to see my car again. I'm ready to file law suit...

My Honda CRV 2015 2.4L EXL, while idle or stopped at lights on Drive Mode, really vibrates mainly front two seats. You can feel in the steering too. This is the first time I am buying a Honda and it is my last time too. It is really annoying. I bought it on Sept 2015 and when I took it to the dealership, they said no software to fix it.

Annoying vibration at stop lights. Not felt while driving only when at stop lights..... fairly annoying

Update from Nov 19, 2015: Luckily I live in a rural area and have very few stop signs or lights. If I had to commute in traffic with a lot of idling the vibration would drive me crazy. If you put it in park it stops but that is not at all practical if you live in a high traffic area and have to wait at stop lights.

Update from Apr 2, 2016: Vibration while stopped in traffic or lights.....

I personally asked the manager of the dealership if he was aware of the vibration problems with this car. He told me to my face (and my mom's) that he had never heard anything about it. I find this difficult to believe being that he has been the manager of this particular dealership for 20 years. The fact the he lied to my face was outrageous! I was in the middle of signing the purchase papers when I asked him (the only reason I asked was because my brother mentioned it to my mom over the phone). A few days later when I noticed the vibrations while in idle (waiting for a green light or to make a left/right turn). So, I called the dealership and spoke to him directly and told him about this problem. He then stated that he was only aware that the problem existed in only a few cars and not every single one of these cars. I sent him an email describing the problem, but to this day (November 6, 2015) he has not replied to it. The fact that he lied to me will only keep me from going back to that dealership again. If I had known about this problem I would have purchased a Subaru. I DO NOT expect nor want problems with a brand new car, especially when it is so expensive! IF I had known about this problem I would have never purchased this car. I wish I could take it back.

CR-V LX 2.4L Earth Dreams

Traded in my 2013 Honda Accord Coupe (same engine as in it as the CRV). Took a trip with this and first thing after a stint on the interstate on the off ramp, this thing was vibrating like a cheap hotel bed. I shrugged it off thinking that it still in the "break in period" (knowing that cars now days are good to go off the lot). Now after 3400 miles and 4 months later this issue has not gone away or gotten better.

Other issues are surging when cruse on and going up a slight hill (300-500 rpm up and down in seconds) and will continue until off the hill. Also a vibration when accelerating from reverse to drive.

I am highly disappointed in this vehicle and wish i never let my other vehicle go.

I bought the new 2015 CR-V touring because of the style, comfort, mileage and safety rating. Because it was summer and hot the a/c was on when we test drove the vehicle. And still on after we bought it. The CR-V ran well. The weather cooled so I turned off the a/c. Now every time I stop while driving, a vibration begins that you can feel in the steering wheel. Then the drivers seat starts to shudder too until the suv begins to move. This continues to happen.

I took it to the service dept where they said it wasn't bad and didn't find a problem. After talking to the service mgr. we were told about a video Honda put out about the vibration. After complaining to the dealership, we were told that the percentage of complaints on the CR-V were so small that no service bulletins or recalls were being issued. But yet Honda is working on a fix. So until then we shake rattle and roll in this $30k plus Honda.

Update from Oct 1, 2015: A complaint was also sent to the BBB. The answer from dealership said, sales service people not aware of the problem. I believe they are. So they can keep selling the CR-V without letting the customer know. If so, take back the CR-V, refund the money, or replace it with one that doesn't have a problem.

Update from Jan 29, 2016: I finally got a call from the dealer to bring the CR-V in. Honda had a fix for the vibration problem. I dropped the car off and got a ride home. Hour and a half later I got a call from the service dept. A part was missing ,had to be ordered. So pick up car. Two weeks later part in on 12/18/2015. CR-V in shop four days. At least they had rental car for me to use. There is still a vibration. Still the 600rpm while stopped. The vibration seems to be less, not shaking as much. But enough to notice and make you and your passenger feel uncomfortable.

Update from Mar 10, 2016: Well, I had it with the Honda CR-V. It was still very uncomfortable at stops. Especially with so many lights on the way to and from work every day. So I finally broke down and got rid of it for a different SUV.

My car is just a few days old. I bought this 2015 CRV on July 7, 2015. I noticed that my car started to vibrating 3 days after. I called the dealer today and will have them to look at it. Apparently I see a lot people having the same problem. My old car I just got ride of, never vibrates like this. Is this a joke? This is a real problem that I almost threw up one time after driving back home from work.

Update from Jul 15, 2015: Other issue with my car is not getting enough power when I backing up. I'm not sure it's related to the vibrating problem.

I purchased my 2015 CRV on 19th Feb 2015. The first 2 weeks I didn't notice but then I observed that the car vibrates significantly while in parking shift at signal or in garage. This vibration also is felt below speed of 30km/h and speeds above 140 km/h. Reported this issue to dealer while regular service and they said they have reset the engine computer however problem is not fixed. No satisfactory answer from the service center till now.

ONE VERY IMPORTANT POINT. I have found a video on Youtube published by official Honda page. The video presenter says that Honda has received this complaint and is working on solution but as of now there is no solution.

Here is the link to the video. https://youtu.be/a6K6JPh7zak

This is an ongoing problem. I have had it into the dealer and they worked on it for a week and a half and spent about $2,000 on it replacing some bolts on the engine and transmission. I have had it in three other times for the same thing and I'm just told that it doesn't do it when they drive it and it doesn't make any more vibration than the other new cars they have on the lot. Well, then fix all them.

I had a 2013 and it worked just fine and I didn't get a free massage every time I drove it. If I would have known that this crappy car is acceptable to Honda running like this, I would have never traded up. I don't know what they did with the 2015 but they need to get it fixed. It is not normal for a car to vibrate like that. Oh well, I will remember this when it is time to trade again. Not to mention the passengers I have in the car are not impressed with it either.
