CarComplaints.com Notes: Some vehicles alert you if you fall asleep behind the wheel, but the 2015 Honda CR-V has a different approach: just shake the heck out of you so you never fall asleep in the first place.
When the light was on for oil change there is not that much engine oil left. Went to dealer and they did the consumption test. They said it is normal the engine will burn some oil. So nothing has been fixed. I am still driving the crv and keep a bottle of engine oil in the car. Will fill it up after couple thousand miles.
I purchased a 2015 CRV brand new from the dealership in October of 2015. My wife came home today (March 8, 2019) and told me that the "genie lamp" (i.e., oil light) was flickering. I checked the oil level and it wasn't registering on the stick. I added 1 and 1/2 quarts to get the level between the marks. Didn't see that one coming! After doing some research on the internet, I discovered that this is a fairly common problem with Honda CR-V's. What's up with that, Honda?
