Excessive vibration throughout cabin. Honda service recommended and applied the mod 1 repair. This has only moved the vibration around in the vehicle. Now the vibration is much more felt in the steering wheel, the passenger seat and the rear seat. A much more aggressive vibration has now shown up at speeds around 70 mph - though this vibration is much more intermittent. The vibration has been an issue since I purchased the vehicle with 4 miles on it in July of 2015. I went back to the dealer initially and they suggested running the air conditioning or an accessory to minimize the problem. Honda was working on a fix. Still waiting for the fix and also wondering what serious problems this is going to cause down the road.

I have a very known problem for this model year - very disturbing vibration in the cabin, when the engine is running in the 800-1800 RPM range, which is a very typical range in every day driving. Basically the problem is present during most of the city driving. During the drive - this vibration quickly escalates from being very annoying - to disturbing and eventually it causes headache and minor nausea, which definitely affects my driving ability!! now, I bought this vehicle brand new, and owned it for almost 2 years. Since the problem appeared almost right away - I've been taking the car to the dealership four times because of this issue. Eventually the dealership performed all the official "fixes" to this problem: 1) new radiator cushions, transmission mounts, and front head restraints. 2) update of the 'PCM software' now, after the first series of fixes, the vibration got a little bit lower (though it still remained).. the dealer told us that these are the only available fixes and there is nothing else that they can do. Well, what could we do? we accepted it as is.. as something we will have to try to live with. However!!! that was not all!! later that year, we got a official letter from the dealership with a request to bring the car in for some kind of software update, which we did. And after that "upgrade" the vibration got much worst then even before! of course I brought the car back to the dealership and complained about vibration. They checked the car and claimed that at this point the vibration is the same level as on the rest of same model cars, and that there is nothing they can do anymore and that I just have to accept it! me and my wife cannot drive it for any prolonged periods of time because the vibration is very disturbing and gives headache.

Excessive vibration while vehicle is in drive mode and is at a stop using the foot brakes. Placing vehicle in neutral lessens the vibration. It is noticed during regular driving when stopped at a stop light or stop sign. The problem is constant and has been occurring since vehicle was purchased new in September of 2015.

Vibration: In December of 2014, we purchased a brand new Honda CRV 2015 model from tom wood Honda in anderson, Indiana. Shortly after purchasing the vehicle, (at around 5,000 miles driven on the vehicle), we noticed that; the vehicle vibrated when stopped (say at a stop light) when the car was in 'drive'. the vibration was not detected when the vehicle was stopped and in 'park'. the vibration at this time was slight and only a little disturbing. The vehicle was taken to penske Honda (on the North side of indianapolis) at around 28,000 miles or so, where a '16-053 CRV update' was applied. The vibration problem was made much worse, not better. Immediately after driving the car off of penske's lot, it vibrated so badly that it was extremely disturbing. Follow a few frustrating conversations with penske Honda about this problem, the vehicle was taken to fisher's Honda. Fisher's Honda performed update 15-046 for vibration at idle, which ameliorated the problem, however, the vehicle still vibrates quite noticeably when engaged in drive and stopped at a stop light for example. The idle speed drops to around 550 RPM when stopped and in drive. The entire car shakes. The steering wheel vibrates in the driver's hands. In my opinion, no one would buy a new or even used car with this problem. I certainly wouldn't. we took the 2015 Honda CRV to tom wood Honda. One of their top technicians drove the car with us in it. He acknowledged the problem, but stated that there was nothing more he could do to fix the problem than what had already been done, and that the problem had something to do with the engine and drive train pairing. Since that time, the vibration phenomenon when the car is stopped and engaged in drive has worsened. In addition, the car vibrates when driving the car at 35 to 45 miles per hour and the rpms are around 1,100 RPM or so.

The contact owns a 2015 Honda CR-V. the contact stated that while driving at various speeds, when the brake pedal was depressed, the vehicle shook and vibrated abnormally. The vehicle was taken to the dealer several times, but they were not able to provide a permanent remedy for the condition. The dealer test drove the vehicle and indicated that the failure was associated with the newly designed engine and transmission/power train. The contact stated that the condition continued to progress with no solution to repair the vehicle. The manufacturer provided no permanent remedy. The failure mileage was 800.

Honda CR-V 2015 and other years have vibration created by the cvt transmission. The cars RPM's drop at idol and the hole car shakes like a 2.0 earthquake. There are apparently more problems than this but Honda is not publicly acknowledge ing the problem. It's been recalled for an alleged computer problem but I suspect they are trying over come the vibration. Coverup. They put new pushings in to tampered vibration. Coverup now dealer wants car back to fix but Honda doesn't know how to repair it. Engineering big mistake.

My Honda CR-V 2015 power suddenly turns off, car stalls, red oil light comes, car is still in reverse gear as I was backing out of garage. It had moved about 8 feet. After a moment or two engine light comes on. There is absolutely no power. To restart car I shift to park and proceed. All systems restart and no problem lights turn on. After three occurrences over about two months. I took car to Honda service 08/22/2016. They noted they checked "car stops when going in reverse" and could nor get it to fail. They stated they made a system update "16-053 per bulletin pgm-fi software." They did not acknowledge any other safety recalls matching my problem. On 09/18/2016 I experienced the same problem. It was Sunday and ray laks, Honda was closed. I spent time looking up recalls and found your letter nvs-215sm to Honda dealers dated 03/9/2015 which denotes the same problem I had - "loss of engine power while in motion." It would appear to be similar problem. Perhaps ray laks, Honda dealer, 3590 southwestern blvd., orchard park, NY 14127, 716-824-6300 did not double check my car for that update.

My car vibrates horribly at rest while in gear at a stop light, shakes so bad I have to put it in neutral. Something rattles under my tail gate, I had it looked at, they said its a partial recall that hasn't been fixed yet. When I back up and put it in drive, my transmission gargles and my car shakes before it goes. It constantly shakes on the highway, ive had it realigned and tires balanced twice in 3 months. This car is awful.

I went alone to kohls on Arizona ave. I was almost ready to park and almost at a standstill and ready to put the car in park. I remember putting my foot on the break and it seemed stuck and a few seconds later I recall a surge of acceleration and the car would not stop even as I attempted desperately to put my foot on the brake to stop the car. The surge of energy seemed to pull-steer my car to the right and it hit a parked car that was 3 spots to the right as there were no cars in the empty parking spots next to this car. My car almost went sideways and hit the car's front passenger side tire area and damaged it pretty badly. I was not able to control the car during this accident. I am concerned that this was a malfunction of the brake or some other operating system. I reviewed with my insurance claims agent re: My concerns re: A malfunction of the car breaks or some other system; they took care of the claim but didn't provide any guidance re: How to pursue my concerns re; malfunction: I called american Honda company on June 13th and filed a complaint re; the accident to inform my concerns re: A malfunction that I feel caused this accident. I was given a case # 04758407 and told that I would be assigned a case manager who will call me within 24hrs. I was called by steven 310/783-2863 on 6/14 and let me know he was my case manager. In spite of many call to set up an apt to have my car evaluated, I have not yet received a call back to coordinate a time to get my car evaluated to see if there was any malfunction during this accident and explain to me how this could have happened w/O a malfunction as the accident is quite bizarre. I googled to see if Honda CR-V 2015S have had any break malfunctions'I saw a report that had several incidents almost identical to mine in a parking lot or near parked position.

When this keyless entry vehicle is stationary, engine can be turned off and driver can exit without shifting to park. The vehicle will sound an alarm and display "shift to park" on one of it's screens. However, this does not prevent the vehicle from moving on any form of incline. We have almost lost the car three times in people's driveways with this problem. Yes, the preferred solution is to apply the emergency brake before exiting but that is not a real-world solution for flat-landers (this solution is only used on steep inclines). Our previous ignition key car would not let us remove the ignition key until the transmission was placed in park. This deficiency could easily result in an out-of-control runaway car.

Vehicle stopped and idling while in gear, vibration felt throughout the cabin. To the point where it is immediately observable, distracting, and could possibly give me a headache on longer stop-and-go trips. Contacted Honda Consumer Affairs and they had dealer perform the applicable fixes but issue remains. Dealer claims they can't feel the vibration, however, they aren't in the car as long as I am (or are trying to cover the problem). Honda claims they can do nothing else but they will inform me of any fixes in the future. Also mentioned that I should report this issue elsewhere as they can no longer help me at this time. Per their suggestion, I'm reporting this here.

This only happened once. Going down short moderate hill on highway and all of a sudden the vehicle seemed to drop into a lower gear; as if, it had a standard transmission (has automatic). Then seemed to be in limbo for very short time, resumed as normal and have not had another incident. Very strange for a new vehicle.
