I got in my 2015 Honda CRV EX-L with less than 36,000 miles and drove less than 1/4 mile when my car started smoking. I quickly pulled off the road and popped the hood to see that the drive belt had fallen off and a section that was still on the drive shafts was rubbing, which caused the belt to ember (which caused the smoke). After getting it towed to the nearest auto shop ($100), I am informed of the TSB ID #A17-063 "Service bulletin - The water pump seized or the drive belt shredded. The water pump bearing is out of specification."
My car is out of warranty, so now I am stuck with a $400 bill for a known issue with my car.
