CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2014 Honda CR-V has a trend of engine hesitation when accelerating.
Honda has tried to fix this delayed acceleration with a software update, but many owners report it didn't fix the problem.
This defect trend is not quite bad enough yet for us to slap on the "Beware of the Clunker" seal. But it's a concern & definitely something to keep in mind for a test drive.
My complaint is vented to Honda Canada. After two dealers tried balancing the tires, which did not stop the vibration, I called customer service. I was told that it was not their problem and that I would have to go after the tire company. Honda does not warranty the tires. I contacted Continental Tire and finally received 4 new tires. Unfortunately this has not repaired the vibration problem so it is going back to the dealer to find the problem and repair it! I am disappointed that Honda will not back up the tires they put on their vehicles and send the customer to fend for themselves.
