CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2014 Honda CR-V has a trend of engine hesitation when accelerating.
Honda has tried to fix this delayed acceleration with a software update, but many owners report it didn't fix the problem.
This defect trend is not quite bad enough yet for us to slap on the "Beware of the Clunker" seal. But it's a concern & definitely something to keep in mind for a test drive.

I had leased this vehicle for 3 years and there was no problem. I then bought it in October 2016, I would never have bought if it had the vibration at that time. In around February of 2018 is when I started feeling the vibration under my seat, then passengers started asking what is that vibration. The first time I took it in to Honda and they said it was a BAD THROTTLE BODY * TPS VOLTAGE AND THROTTLE PLATE OUT OF SPEC. REMOVED AND REPLACED ALL WORKING AS DESIGNED Took it into the Honda dealer another 2 or 3 times and they keep telling me that it is a glitch in 2014, 2015 and 2016 CRVs. I still have 3 or 4 more years of payments and am not happy...
