CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2014 Honda CR-V has a trend of engine hesitation when accelerating.
Honda has tried to fix this delayed acceleration with a software update, but many owners report it didn't fix the problem.
This defect trend is not quite bad enough yet for us to slap on the "Beware of the Clunker" seal. But it's a concern & definitely something to keep in mind for a test drive.
I have always bought Honda's and have had really no issues and would get at least 400klm out of them. This is the first time I bought new and have had issue after issue. First battery went within a year, brakes went quick and now my timing chain went. I always keep up with my maintenance, however I must have got a lemon. I will be on the hunt for a new car and Honda is off my list. So disappointed as the quality has really gone down.
