CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2014 Honda CR-V has a trend of engine hesitation when accelerating.
Honda has tried to fix this delayed acceleration with a software update, but many owners report it didn't fix the problem.
This defect trend is not quite bad enough yet for us to slap on the "Beware of the Clunker" seal. But it's a concern & definitely something to keep in mind for a test drive.

Honda very aware of issue yet never fixed it. No recall and it has extended on for many years. Replaced electric seat relay, window and have deductible of 200 each time.
Have had 5 batteries as the drain eats the cell. Fortunately the battery company released 3 under warranty. Ridiculous to the point I will NEVER own another Honda after a Prelude, 4 Accords and the CRV all new. Next car Toyota as soon as the chips come back.
