Vibration In Steering Wheel And Driver Seat
2014 Honda CR-V
This problem may be covered under warranty. Ask your Honda dealer.
CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2014 Honda CR-V has a trend of engine hesitation when accelerating.
Honda has tried to fix this delayed acceleration with a software update, but many owners report it didn't fix the problem.
This defect trend is not quite bad enough yet for us to slap on the "Beware of the Clunker" seal. But it's a concern & definitely something to keep in mind for a test drive.

When I first got my CRV, I noticed a mild vibration on freeways at 65mph and up. I thought it would just go away, since the CRV is brand new.
First visit Dealer-Honda shop, and they said that they cannot duplicate the problem of Steering wheel and driver seat vibration.
Second visit at Honda dealer shop, had the service adviser ride with me and drive the car, recognized vibration on steering wheel and driver seat @ 65mph and up on freeways smooth roads. Rebalanced 4 tires.
Third visit complained of the same problem, shop found out wheel balancing machine is not calibrated properly and they did rebalanced 4 wheels again.
Finally I contacted Honda USA representative and complained of the problem. They sent a Honda representative to the Honda dealer shop, representative duplicate the problem, rebalanced wheels, replaced 2 wheels, checked so many things after 2 to 3 meetings with Honda Rep. These were all done during my multiple visits with the shop. Finally, since Honda cannot fix the problem, they said nothing is wrong with my CRV and whatever it is, it's acceptable to Honda standard.
I was told by Honda to observe my CRV after so many thousand miles if the problem will become more obvious.
I've owned Honda Civic, Accords and never have a problem, 'til I got this Honda CRV. I'm not happy with this annoying vibration on my 2014 CRV AWD LX.
