CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2014 Honda CR-V has a trend of engine hesitation when accelerating.
Honda has tried to fix this delayed acceleration with a software update, but many owners report it didn't fix the problem.
This defect trend is not quite bad enough yet for us to slap on the "Beware of the Clunker" seal. But it's a concern & definitely something to keep in mind for a test drive.

I am a third generation Honda driver and purchased a new Honda CRV last August (Aug 2014)
and have seen little nicks in the leather seats in the front passenger and rear seats.
I've had the same dogs for over 10 years and all have their nails filed frequently and have NEVER had issues with leather tears in my cars..... so that is not something unusual. In fact, dogs never ride out front.
Last couple months a small little "Nick" turned into a small incision or tear in the front passenger seat (Leather) I am very disappointed in the poor quality and thin leather used on the seats of this model :( This will cost me a LOT of money to fix or repair and it is all down to how they manufactured the product.
VERY CHEAP!! This car is ONLY 9 months OLD!!!!!! Just imagine what it will look like in five or ten years!!
I may go to another car and go back to a Lexus after this. Not happy at all........
