CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2014 Honda CR-V has a trend of engine hesitation when accelerating.
Honda has tried to fix this delayed acceleration with a software update, but many owners report it didn't fix the problem.
This defect trend is not quite bad enough yet for us to slap on the "Beware of the Clunker" seal. But it's a concern & definitely something to keep in mind for a test drive.

I have to make a lot of calls in my car and to make it safe, I use Siri (iPhone IOS) to initiate them. Siri answers when I press the home button on the phone, but as soon as the phone dials it randomly either leaves the phone call on Bluetooth or transfers it to my iPhone 7s Plus, all software up-to-date.
So I'm driving down the road, the radio comes back on and whoever I call can't speak to me. These calls are often urgent; I provide services to vulnerable adults and need to speak with them and my employees during frequent hour-long drives.
Had this problem 18 months, since I acquired the car at 42,000 miles with OEM radio and Bluetooth. Took it to dealer. No firmware upgrade or other fix available; both our 2014 BMW and 2018 Subaru work perfectly AND accessed Siri through the Bluetooth button on the steering wheel. Not this car. Button does nothing. Calls are transferred.
Someday, I'm going to be in the throes of an emergency and will crash my car trying to get an employee on the speaker before they hang up. This is sub-Honda.
