CarComplaints.com Notes: The 2014 Honda CR-V has a trend of engine hesitation when accelerating.

Honda has tried to fix this delayed acceleration with a software update, but many owners report it didn't fix the problem.

This defect trend is not quite bad enough yet for us to slap on the "Beware of the Clunker" seal. But it's a concern & definitely something to keep in mind for a test drive.

Heater core totally plugged, needed to use cleaner to flush it. I have a call in to Honda America. I think this is a system error that they need to fix.

When you live in a cold climate in the winter you want your heater to work. My feet are alway cold, very little heat coming from the lower heater. I have lots for the window heater, but that doesn't help my feet. I talked to a Honda rep and he said it was a problem and they were working on a fix. I always get heat on the windshield and upper vents when it is on the lower heater. I am sure they fixed it the next year.

It does take the heater longer then it should to start working, but I guess maybe that is because it is a 4 cylinder, with a brand new vehicle like this you'd expect the heater to work much sooner then it does.

The heater takes forever to begin giving heat. I took it to the dealer. They said it tested out correctly. SURE! After I already drove 15 miles to their location. Anyone know what temperature the engine thermostat should open at?
