This morning, went to start up 2013 CRV the gas accelerator got stuck for maybe 6-8 seconds. The car revved so loud and hard and bluish smoke filled the cabin and came out of the tail pipe. I didn't know what was going on so I jumped out the car. Once everything returned to normal, I cut the car off and started it back up. I was very hesitant about driving, thinking it would happen again. after doing some research, I noticed that others have seemed to have this same issue. Good thing the car was in park when this happened or I could have been injured.
Honda needs to take a look at this issue or the NTHSB need to get involved.
