The day of the incident, drove to work where the car jolted at least twice before getting to work, guess that was a sign. Upon leaving work, I took the car out of park, put in drive to go forward, car went backwards. Placed back in park, turned off and started the car up again, placed in drive only to go in reverse once again. Thank god there was no car behind me or I would have totally backed right into it. I called the mechanic who normally does the work, he said, "first time I've heard of the car going in reverse". He in turn instructed me on what to do with the same results. He finally said it was either electrical or the transmission. I brought the car with 25,000 miles in 2006 and presently, 2000 to 3000 under 100,000 miles and the transmission goes. Had to pay to have car towed 30 miles (pay up front, get reimbursed later, which I did not have -- bill that want get paid on time). Honda is not the best car on the market. I will never purchase another. Called Honda Company in California to asked about recalls -- none -- only on the 2007 through 2010.
