This summer of 2017 my 2012 Honda CRV a/c stop working due to ac compressor failure.The worse was my wife was driving it with her friend shopping. She was embarrassed at that time. Then I brought it at Honda dealer to get it fixed and paid the labor only. The parts was covered by Honda (goodwill warranty because of its mileage). I'm little bit disappointed this happens coz I choose Honda for its reliability. I have a non-Honda small beater car named TC 20 years old already never failed me on the road not even its a/c. Now I'm skeptical to buy another Honda.
A/C stopped working three couple of months ago. Had an estimate of $1200 to fix A/C compressor, but was putting it off. However, the A/C compressor apparently locked up on 5/30/2017 and broke the serpentine belt. Have to replace both in order for the car to run.
Two days after driving my new 2012 CRV off the lot and on the way to have my daughter's bridal portrait taken the a/c would not cool. This was one of the most important days of my daughter's life and over 80 degrees outside. By the time we got to the venue to have her picture taken, her hair and makeup both had melted. NOT A HAPPY HONDA OWNER. THANKS HONDA FOR RUINING MY DAUGHTER'S SPECIAL DAY!
