Car purchased new from Autowest Honda in Roseville. At first, dealer was dismissive about driver's seat height adjustment not holding. Then dealer replaced seat frame; that didn't solve issue. Lever taken off seat and owner drove it for 2 1/2 wks, after which dealer could see seat adjustment still didn't hold. Seat frame replaced a second time. Still losing height. Amer. Honda engineers now want to take seat lever off again & have service manager drive it, giving me (owner) a rental car. When I objected, saying that this had already been done and where was the trust in the consumer, Serv. Mgr. said, "Well, you know, there are a lot of dishonest Lemon Law-type people out there, and we just have to make sure ourselves". I feel Autowest is discriminating against me, and using bullying tactics, by asking me to repeat a test that had already been done and verified by their techs. I am getting ZERO help from Amer. Honda Consumer Case Mgr. in Torrance, nor even a call-back from Autowest Honda's owner/mgr. This has been going on for over 6 months, with no fix. I want a replacement car. They sold me a defective brand new car, and they're running me around in circles. I would NEVER go near Autowest Honda for another car, and dealing with AmericanHonda reps in L.A. is a nightmare of the highest order. It is a black hole there in Torrance.
