The TPMS light just keep turning itself on for no reason. Originally told by mechanics that if the weather is cold, sometimes the sensor will do that. But now even the weather is really warm, the TPMS light still turns on from time to time for no reason. Checked the tire pressure and it was fine. The light also will turn itself off after a while

Honda TPMS sensor battery failure after 5 years. TPMS system MANDATED by Federal Government. Added to vehicle cost to start with, now have to replace sensors and reprogram system every time a battery fails (to the tune of $180+ per sensor just for parts). They don't all fail at the same time. So looking at 900 to 1000 dollars to maintain a system that gives false alerts if temperatures fall too low and batteries get weak. Have driven well over 1000000 miles and know to inspect my tires before driving. Local dealer is more than happy to replace them all at once or one at a time. They get paid, no matter what. Just more government intrusion.
